Purpose of Position: We are seeking a talented and experienced MAXIMO System Administrator / Data Analyst to join the WPS Corporate Service Technology Team. This hybrid role combines expertise in MAXIMO and other IBM systems, along with strong coding and data analysis skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in system administration, data management, and process optimization.Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: o Manage and maintain MAXIMO WPS environments.
  • Configure user access, security settings, and system parameters.
  • Support routine system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from MAXIMO databases.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries to retrieve relevant information.
  • Create custom reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Workflow Management:
  • Design, implement, and optimize workflows in MAXIMO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes.
  • Ensure workflows align with organizational goals.
  • Coding and Customization:
  • Write and maintain scripts, automation routines, and customizations.
  • Customize MAXIMO applications to meet specific business needs in collaboration with Admin leads and System Owners.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance system functionality.
  • User Training and Support:
  • Conduct training sessions for MAXIMO users.
  • Provide ongoing support, addressing user inquiries and technical issues.
  • Foster a positive user experience by ensuring smooth system operation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MAXIMO required and understanding of IBM Software Products with a proven track record in understanding complicated workflows and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong coding skills (SQL, scripting languages) for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with workflow design and optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn other platforms.
  • Ability to prioritize projects.
  • Execute as a high-performance individual contributor, while also being a team player.

Hours of Work:

  • Extended workdays, weekends and holidays may be required for go-live activities.
  • Candidate will need to be located in Corning, NY or within a 1-2 hour driving distance.

Travel Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. and Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration and data analysis.
  • Or Bachelors of Science in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, or related field with minimum 3-5 years System Admin and Data Analysis experience.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $79,322.00 – $109,069.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
