- You will screen data base records for availability of supplies, initiate preparation of requisitions for submission to the prime vendor contractor, and obtain information on the availability of requested material(s).
- You will furnish information to customers on stock availability, oversee stock maintenance, and be responsible for inventory management.
- You will dispatch new and revised procedures and other printed matter in accordance with distribution records and conduct physical inventories.
- You will maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for nonexpendable property and perform standardized property management control processes.
- You will initiate, prepare, edit, and process requirements for materials or services.
- You will search prime vendor contract, catalog, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers, unit prices, etc., or to find authorized substitutes for stock items.
- You will follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material to work sites and monitor all aspects of procurement for the materials/services required.

QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
