Practice Area: Employment & LaborDirect Counsel is seeking a junior Employment & Labor Associate to join a fast-paced and sophisticated practice group at a leading law firm in Chicago. This role offers hands-on experience in employment litigation, counseling, and transactional matters .Key Responsibilities:
- Handle employment litigation and provide employment counseling to clients.
- Advise on executive employment and separation agreements .
- Navigate the employment aspects of M&A transactions .
- Stay current on statutory and regulatory employment laws .
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of employment & labor law experience at a law firm.
- Strong experience in employment litigation and regulatory compliance .
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills .
- High level of initiative, motivation, and work ethic .
- Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $235,000 – $260,000 (Final offer based on experience and location).
