In this role, you will have the opportunity to handle a diverse array of legal matters, represent clients in various legal proceedings, and provide expert legal counsel. You will play a vital part in upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide well-informed, strategic advice to clients.
- Draft legal documents, contracts, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal instruments.
- Represent clients in court, during negotiations, and in settlement discussions.
- Advise clients on a variety of legal matters, ensuring compliance and offering strategic counsel.
- Stay updated on legal trends and changes in laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet client needs and objectives.
- Maintain organized and accurate case files and legal documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience post-law school.
- Labor and Employment experience.
- Proficient in litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery, preparing motions and briefs in state and federal courts.
- Solid experience in employment law (wage and hour claims, discrimination, post-employment restrictions, etc.).
- Experience in labor law (union matters) is a plus.
- Prior experience with direct client contact is highly desirable but not required.
