Junior Employment Law Associate – Requirements and Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active California Bar membership
  • 1–2+ years of litigation experience, ideally in employment law or wage and hour disputes
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a plaintiff-side law firm environment (defense-to-plaintiff transitions welcome)

Preferred Background and Skills

  • Familiarity with California labor and employment law, PAGA claims, and class action litigation
  • Prior experience supporting discovery, depositions, and motion practice
  • Demonstrated passion for employee rights, workplace fairness, and complex civil litigation
